We Must through Many Tribulations Enter the Kingdom of God

Introduction

We shall overcome despite the many struggles on the way. There will be ups and downs in our lives but in the end, we shall emerge victorious because He who called us overcame.  Therefore, have this in mind..

Acts 14:22 … strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

Godliness Profits All the Time

No amount of tribulation should weigh you down. Keep the focus. The race is not for the faint hearted. Don’t look for motivation. Instead, form a habit of following Christ and seeking God. Motivation and willpower are scarce resources. They cannot suffice. You cannot rely on them.

1 Timothy 4:…For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.

We Need the Grace of God

All you need is the GRACE of God – a resource given by GOD. Grace cannot be exhausted. Be encouraged to move on…

2 Corinthians 12:…And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The Grace of God will cause us to minister in the right way…It is by Grace

Ephesians 3:…of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

Pressing into the Kingdom of God

You and I need to make a personal choice and commit to abide in HIM at all times. We all are pressing into the Kingdom. We can’t just give up at the slightest provocation to do so…

Luke 16:16 ….“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

Don’t trust on your ability. Pursue righteousness. This will bring peace and joy in your life.

Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Here is yet another scripture to look at as you continue with your journey in the Lord.

Luke 13: …24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ (NIV)

Overcoming Against All Odds

There you have it friends. Despite all the distractions and challenges on the way, we must make a commitment to enter the Kingdom of God. Be blessed!
